Set quietly among our vineyards, these solar panels harness the power of the sun to support many of the Estate’s energy needs. There are few places in the world blessed with such abundant sunshine — more than 3,000 hours each year — making solar energy a natural and sustainable choice for Lanzerac. It is a remarkable privilege to use the very same sunlight that ripens our grapes and contributes to the creation of our distinctive wines, for this special project. 

By drawing on this renewable resource, we are able to reduce our reliance on conventional energy sources and significantly lower our carbon emissions.
