Frequently Asked Questions about this Tour

Victoria Falls and the Kruger National Park are great to visit all year round, however, June and July are considered the wettest months in Cape Town. Victoria Falls can also be very humid in October, and the main rainy season for both Victoria Falls and Kruger Park is between November and February. This period, however, is known as the “Green Season” and is a wonderful time for bird watchers to visit and witness migratory species. In the Victoria Falls area, the “Low Water” period falls between August and January and is at its lowest between November and early December. At this time, the best views of the falls will be at Devil’s Cataract which is permanent and on the Zimbabwean side of Victoria Falls.

Only the Kruger National Park and Victoria Falls are considered malaria areas and we advise the use of anti-malarial prophylactics all year round. Please consult your travel doctor for advice at least three weeks before departure to Africa.

One of the many reasons why travellers choose to visit Cape Town is its abundance of scenic beauty and natural attractions. The city itself is situated between the Atlantic Ocean and Table Mountain, and attractions such as the scenic Cape Winelands, Cape Town’s numerous white sandy beaches, the Cape Peninsula and activities such as whale watching and shark diving, are all found within a 2-hour radius of Cape Town. In addition, Cape Town is also considered South Africa’s culinary capital and a veritable foodie paradise.

The Sabi Sands Game Reserve is Southern Africa’s premier private safari destination and is synonymous with frequent sightings of the elusive leopard. The reserve includes the Big 5 (lion, leopard, black rhinoceros, African bush elephant, and the African buffalo) along with other animals; however, we mention leopards specifically as these magnificent creatures are usually shy and rarely seen.

Seasonal & tactical offers and deals exist at most of the properties we represent. We have not included these in the calculations for now and will apply them according to the dates and season during which you want to travel.
