This crisp and refreshing Sauvignon Blanc boasts generous aromas of green fruits including Granny Smith apples that interplay with white fruits such as Asian pears and white peaches in a perfect fruit-acid balance. The BERGSTROOM (meaning mountain stream) is named after the various deep ravines acting as a life vain for various town and is a classic blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon. This classical Bordeaux-style white blend is packed with kiwis, gooseberries and green hay on the nose, whilst on the palate, the wine gives length and complexity with a well-balanced acidity to finish of this fresh wine. Only 1 608 bottles of the BERGSTROOM 2023 were produced. -

BERGPAD is a Pinot Blanc from a single vineyard block in the Jonkershoek Valley of Stellenbosch. The name for this wine is derived from the famous mountain path (bergpad in Afrikaans) that runs from the University of Stellenbosch’s sports grounds, Coetzenburg, along the Stellenbosch Mountain towards Lanzerac Wine Estate in Jonkershoek. This path has become a regular feature for local and university sports and outdoor enthusiasts over the decades. The dominant flavour of Pinot Blanc on the nose is preserved quince, violets, lavender and pears which follows through to the palate where creaminess and softness enters at the mid-palate and lingers on the extended finish. Only 2400 bottles of the BERGPAD were produced. -

This full-bodied Chardonnay showcases prominent primary citrus aromas on the nose followed by a complexity of flavours including lemon, clover, ginger and vanilla. The palate reveals an excellent balance between fruit, acidity and softness with a lingering aftertaste. -
This appetizing wine has everything a Merlot-lover could want, and more. The 2023 Merlot has an excellent deep red colour, with ripe red berries, cocoa, slight mint and chocolate on the nose. On the palate the wine shows a well-balanced tannin structure, rich body with fruit and a lingering aftertaste. -
The Lanzerac Jonkershoek Reserve 2021 is a blend consisting of Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and Petit Verdot. The grapes for each variety used in this blend comes from selected vineyards in the Jonkershoek Valley. All harvesting and pruning were done by hand with extreme care taken to not damage the grapes resulting in only healthy grapes being picked. -

Grapes for the Keldermeester Versameling Kurktrekker originate from a single Cinsaut vineyard in the Jonkershoek Valley. The Keldermeester Versameling Kurktrekker is named after the Jonkershoek Kurktrekker Nek, the unique mountain route situated a stone’s throw from Lanzerac. -
Nobody’s been bottling Pinotage longer than Lanzerac and this wine shows a wealth of experience with this proudly South African variety. The 2023 Pinotage boasts an excellent deep colour, ripe berries and plums on the nose and palate with a good mouth-feel and lingering aftertaste. With 5 to 10 years’ maturation this wine will start to acquire the velvet density and luxurious chocolate and caramel flavours of its very early Lanzerac predecessors. A full-bodied, complex wine with a beautiful balance between fruit and wood showcasing a good tannin structure that will allow it to age extremely well.
