Department: Food & Beverage

Work hours: 9 hours per day, five days per week (including late shifts, weekends, public holidays, split shifts, overtime and last-minute changes)

Duties:

  • Day to day duties associated with Sommelier.
  • Sourcing of new products and keeping up to date with offers as well as guests tastes and requirements.
  • Food & wine service knowledge.
  • Provide guest with high quality service that is consistent with a 5-star experience.
  • Handle all guests on the Estate in a courteous and respectful manner.
  • Ensures a positive guest experience by providing exemplary guest service.
  • Stock management of wines and other products.
  • Share with and train other team members’ knowledge on food & wine pairing
  • Reviewing and analysing sales to ensure stock rotation and profitability remains within targets.
  • Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently.
  • Or any other duties assigned.
