Sundays too my father got up early
and put his clothes on in the blue-black cold,
then with cracked hands that ached
from labor in the weekday weather made
banked fires blaze. No one ever thanked him.

Our superlative Lanzerac chefs have done it again! Two exceptional culinary opportunities to thank and honour those marvellous men.

On Saturday 18 June only, Lanzerac will host a Gentleman’s Tea – complete with beef sliders, pork belly cubes and lamb bobotie pies, to mention but a few of the delicious treats on offer – all to be enjoyed with a whisky tasting and rounded off with live sports action in the Craven Lounge.

On Sunday 19 June our usual Sunday lunch at Manor Kitchen will be replaced by a special Father’s Day Lunch, fit for a king, created by Chef Stephen Fraser. The lunch includes specialities like slow-smoked pork belly, 24-hour braised beef brisket and rosemary/garlic/thyme roasted leg of lamb. Seating is at 12h00 and the entire experience will cost R520 per adult.

Bookings and pre-payments are essential and both experiences can be booked by emailing [email protected]
